Can someone please help me with the BitCoin process? I've been on the site a few times as a guest and I've read all the posts my boggling eyes could handle...but I STILL need some help. I don't have a bank account (for a whole bunch of reasons) and the way I understand the BitCoins this is the only way you are able to acquire any. Is this the case? And if so please tell me I have some other payment option cause I'm really ready to be able to make a purchase. Thank you for your patience

if you don't have a bank account, you can mail money to mt. gox. use an insured postal carry.
there are other places that do this but i have only trusted mt. gox for it. not sure if tradehill does it.
the other option is bitcoinme.com but keep in mind you'll need a local wallet.
(place on your computer that keeps the coins).
if you use mt. gox, you can keep the wallet up on the web safely, unlike the mybitcoin.com shitfiasco

Lot's of exchanges take Western Union for some currencies that can then be traded for bitcoins.

http://bitcoinbux.com/
not the most economical, they charge +6% but I hear they are quite fast and have a large number of payment methods, including moneypak.

Take a look at this thread: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=1766.0 In it there are several suggestions as to how to get Bitcoins, as well as a link to another thread about acquiring Bitcoins.
At first, it's a lengthy, often confusing process, so reading up on better ways to get Bitcoins can save you some headaches along the way.
